Merlin: The Dark Tower (Season 5, Episode 6)
After recently watching this episode, I feel my love for Gwen has grown by leaps and bounds, even though she is already my favorite character.
We see some of her truly powerful mental strength, in the way she is able to battle off the visions of her friends and still hold true to herself. For three days (I approximated), suffering such emotional torturer from what seemed like dozens of enchantments. It was through sheer willpower. I felt this was a very important show of character for Gwen.
Then, during the end, when her last of kin dies in her arms. I felt my heart break for her. I was impressed that she had not snapped, or lost it. But of course when we see her turning over to Morgana, I found that a great plot twist.
In each season, there is one traitor, someone who is close in the castle and is not revealed to the characters until it is to late. And so far we had our first look at this idea again with Gwen’s maid. But to have the actual traitor to be Gwen is far more interesting.
I cannot wait to see the next episode! :D

It is my belief, Watson, founded upon my experience, that the lowest and vilest alleys in London do not present a more dreadful record of sin than does the smiling and beautiful countryside.

I can’t offer you a legally binding union, it won’t hold up in the state, the county or frankly any court in the world due to your age, lack of a license and failure to get parental consent BUT the ritual does carry a very important moral weight within yourselves - you can’t enter into this lightly. Look into my eyes - do you love each other?
